The mission of Gazi University College of Foreign Languages is to provide foreign language education to make them obtain the language skills necessary for their academic and social life by providing a learning environment with the most current and effective approaches, methods, techniques, technologies and equipment by meeting the objectives of CEFR in four skills of different foreign languages comfortably, become independent learners and ethical individuals, and adapt themselves to the requirements of the contemporary world. In addition, it offers opportunities for the professional development of the instructors and social development of the students. While achieving this objective, our school continues to facilitate close cooperation and coordination between its two branches: Department of Modern Languages and Department of Basic Foreign Languages, and equip students studying at faculties where the medium of instruction is partly English, with oral and written communication skills as well as reading and listening skills necessary for their academic studies. In this way, Gazi University CFL is also determined to become a good model of foreign language teaching in Türkiye, and a desirable institution for internal and external stakeholders academically and administratively.
The vision of Gazi University College of Foreign Languages is to equip our students with the necessary foreign language skills required in a global level, in accordance with the respectable national and international status of Gazi University, which assists their future studies in their academic life in the most effective way.
