Accreditation

As the School of Foreign Languages, our education and training activities were internationally accredited in 2019 by the Pearson Assured quality management system within the scope of quality studies of our university. This process was carried out by the Accreditation Commission, which was formed in our department in April 2019, consisting of 19 academic staff and headed by the Deputy Director of the School of Foreign Languages, and was completed in a short period of 9 months. The activities of our unit for accreditation gains and quality studies have been continuing since then.

In order for the principles of the quality management system to be permanently reflected in the unit culture, the process is closely followed in all administrative and academic stages by a lecturer appointed as the "Quality Assurance Officer" in our School in addition to the unit managers.

We have started our international accreditation process in May 2022 with the European-based Eaquals Accreditation organization in order to make the quality of the education and training activities we carry out sustainable and to make the foreign language education of our students recognized internationally. In addition, within the scope of our university's quality studies and planning, YÖKAK Institutional Accreditation and ISO-9001 Total Quality Management System studies are carried out sensitively in our School.

In order for the quality culture to be internalized by all staff and students in the unit, focus group meetings are held throughout the year and necessary information is provided, and feedback received from stakeholders is also conveyed.
